So how did your family get here and do you have the papers to prove it?…If you are like most Americans, the answer is “no”, you don’t have the papers and you can’t prove that your family came here legally, especially if it was before Ellis Island and Angel Island opened up to process all those incoming immigrants.…Before there were believed to be “too many Mexicans”, it was also believed that there were “too many Jews”, but World War II changed that thinking.…Before there were “too many Jews”, there were “too many Asians”.…Before there were “too many Asians”, there were “too many Italians”.…Before there were “too many Italians”, there were “too many Germans”.…Before there were “too many Germans”, there were “too many Irish”.…And when there was “too many Irish” out there, there was also “too many Chinese”.…And before that, there were “too many English” coming from the wrong classes coming over here, spreading their Wesleyan views and just turning the place into yet another slum.…So which group applies to you?

What happened to “Deficts Don’t Matter”. Oh it’s just a part of the 2 Santa Clauses of the Repubs. Cut taxes and spend like crazy then when a Dem gets in office blame him. Repubs trying to bankrupt this country so they can start from scratch and make all of us 99% indintured slaves.

A failure to pass a budget should be a firing offense.

Once again: If you really want to reduce the quantity of illegals, prosecute those who hire them. Nearly all of them come here for the jobs. Take away those jobs and the illegal immigration will cease and many, if not most, of the illegals will leave.-That is, unless you really want illegals to be here and increase business profits by supplying cheap labor and decreasing the overall wage base.-If you want illegals here admit it. If you don’t, propose real solutions.

I direct your attention to the third graph in this article. I also direct your attention to the last four years. The deficit has been shrinking. Certainly not as quickly as some of us might like, but it’s been shrinking. Now look at the Reagan, Bush, Sr. and Shrub years and tell me, if you can, why no one seemed to see those as the Financial Apocalypse that the Rethuglicans are crying “Wolf!” over today.
