And a fine good morning to you, Jan. Might as well say that for all the Vagabonds and our silent friends.

I believe it was back in the days of the sockpuppets that I posted tonight’s post’ It’s about aging, and the folly of denying it. It’s also about the best way to handle it.I call it………..“.ON THE SUBJECT OF GERIATRICS”

First of all, ain’t anything you can do about it. Time will have it’s way. You can get all the nips and tucks and tightening and enhancements cosmic surgery can provide. You can also go out behind the house and paint that old tool shed nice and pretty….. But it’s still an old shed inside.Have you watched the children? The young ones five, six, eight or nine years old?. Their world is so full of wonders that adults pass by, not noticing, forgetting.A tiny flower. A pretty little rock. Maybe a sky full of fluffy that look like….. What sort of things did you see back then.Life, to so many becomes similar to tunnel vision. All they can see is what’s ahead of them. Any deviation from that narrow line is an interruption, an irritation. We need tohold some of that wonder in our hearts. Check out what that child finds so fascinating. Maybe one of those big black beetles crawling along. Show the child how it sticks it’s rear up if it is prodded.Look up at the sky the children are looking at up. Ask them what they see up there. You might see it, too, once it’s pointed out.Watch the children and remember, that you can be child like without being childish,I am so glad that my world is still so full of wonders>

Goodmorning, Vagabonds. It’s 11:17 AM here in Israel. The Passover seder was really great. My cousins and I went to the home of an American couple from Houston who now live in Israel. The service was nice and I added a few insights to it and the food was delicious. We read the WHOLE Hagada and sang all the songs. We weren’t finished till Midnight.

I still can’t get into my main Hotmail account. They wanna make sure it’s ME! In addition to copying those crazy letters and numbers, I had to answer all kinds of questions: my birthdate, who I last emailed, the names of my folders and I entered the info on a different Hotmail account but the info was rejected. Meanwhile I can’t send out any news that I arrived here safely or open the numerous emails I’m sure I’m getting.

Morning, Village.Arye, glad you’re enjoying your Passover visit. I was in Jerusalem back in 1969 during Passover. I didn’t understand a lot about the Jewish faith at the time, but it was quite an experience. Sorry about your computer problems, hope it gets fixed soon.

    Good Morning, Vagabonds,

As always, it is such a treat to read your work, Slim. Thanks for yet another reminder about graceful aging! You are a great role model.

Arye, glad to hear about your trip. I hope you are taking lots of pictures to email once you get home.

I have an exciting day…………I’m going for my SECOND hair cut since I had chemo! Woo Hoo! It sure takes a long time to grow!

Good morning to one and all. That was a wonderful observation Slim. Thank you. The sun is bright and the air is crisp here on our little island. I’m eager to step out into the world.

Slim, that was wonderful. You’re right. We need to open our eyes to the wonders around us. God made such a pretty world, both in the vistas and the pebbles.

Arye, I hope you get into your email soon. And I am glad you are enjoying your trip so much.

Rita, sometimes the little milestones (like the second haircut) have the most meaning. Celebrate!!!!

Alex, I’m not a golfer, but even I can appreciate that one. Thanks.

Overcast this morning. The expected high today is over 80, but I’ll wager it won’t get much above 70.
