Two words: power outage. After any large scale natural disaster, two things tend to fail and prove not essential to day to day life. They are the electrical grid and the communication infrastructure. When these are gone, computers ( and ipads) are nothing more than expensive boat anchors. This is the reason we need to preserve the art of lettter wriing and print communication.
