I was walking down a pedestrian mall in my area one day, and a person walked past just in my peripheral vision. I instinctively turned and laid my hand on her arm, thinking, “If I’m wrong she’s gonna deck me.” Turned out to be who I thought it was…a friend I thought was 300 miles away. Her mom was with her and later said, “You should have seen both your faces, it was a treat!”

There’s something about my face….All my life I’ve been taken for other people, even other nationalities….

I’ve had so many perfect strangers walk up and say “Nancy!” or “when did you get back?”… or start speaking Italian, or Russian….

About 20 years ago, on a rather dark street in San Francisco, a guy walking past suddenly grabbed me by the arm and hugged me… I screamed!He backed up and started saying “No no, I’m sorry, I’m sorry…”….totally embarrassed.Oops.

Charlie, I don’t like to tattle….

but Leo and BobCat seem to have taken the whole weekend off….. and apparently without your permission!

They’re so lucky to have nepotism on their side.
