Hi all….yes, Bev is right…I have roast yak sandwiches, with some very special artisan yak cheese from a small monkestery overlooking the West Coast….

or chicken on my home made whole wheat.

And loads of banana bread.

One wonders what world of woe has brought Gene to his knees.

Is Barticle right?Is he merely searching for the wayward olive that rolled off his sandwich plate… ……last Friday?(He does love olives.)

Or is he driven to distraction by a dire dilemma?

Did we eat all the chocolate bars, Bev?(Silly question…. sigh…three women…. road trip….no chocolate bar had a chance of survival…..)

Gene is worried someone will use him as a game table.

Are you fading Bev?I’m pretty tired too, after all that driving… but I still have work to do here tonight.

Having a dog car does help a lot… Elvis watches where he’s going, and around here, he even knows his way.But today was new territory…

Coyoty, he does look rather perfect for checkers…if he can keep everything on the level.

And Bri…. of course.The thing is, they don’t wander very far…. there’s no fence but they stick around cos they’re proud of their roots.

Red…. somehow baking is so much easier here than at home. I baked sixteen loaves of banana bread, plus 4 of wheat bread….

And still had time to travel through several states and be back in time for a nap before work!

I usually do it in short hops from the Tiki…cos, you know… I help out the night shift here,….Though I have been known to fall asleep by the fireplace.

My first thought was that he’s imitating a table. It MUST be the starch.

Gene must be trying to pool his assets. Whilst He’s doing-it doggie-style, perhaps He can ask Fenton why a certain persona is a week+ “overdue”.[[[?]]]

Rocky is a firm believer that a little game of Fetch with the tennis ball will not only lift Gene’s spirits but will cure all that ails him!

I just discovered another group of old photos that I planned to scan (including the one I originally started the search for on the bouncy horse). Here is the one I did not post which was part of the scene in 1977: When I noticed that a camera was snapping, I threw on the matching skirt and I smiled for the camera.

I can tell by my upper arm that (not only was I not working out back then, but at least 20# over what I am now.Time to make some tea and go up to bed soon – Good night, see you all in the AM.

Stel… yeah, I don’t remember your sleeping through the whole trip….… but if you did, you’re really good at eating sandwiches in your sleep!I had a giant jug of coffee right there on the roof…

maybe I should have poured more for you…but I figured you must have needed the nap.

Bev…. right you are, the Missouri….The first was a river in Massachusetts, the next one was the Missouri, and the last one was a bit of typical vineyard scenery near where I live.

In Northern Calif, that is.

Dazz… I only bake those big batches on Ballard Street…

It’s much easier here……
