I remember my first modem on my Apple ][e computer…300 baud. It was so slow I could read the text as fast as it arrived.

I’m just happy to see the return (albeit only a partial one) of the lovely ‘n talented Jen…Perhaps there’s a chance Mr. Cho will also see fit to work beautiful Brandy into a new story line (at last!) in the near future. If I never again see these misguided critters trying to re-invent the toilet – it may STILL be far too soon … … …

In 1982 we used DARPANET. It took 2 days for each cycle of an internet email and response. And pretty much only DOD contracting companies and Universities had internet. WWW may only be 20 years or so old, but internet has been around since the 70s.

They’re all rehash strips – Cho stopped publishing LM back in 2001 as a syndicated strip, did a few LM comic books over the next few years, most of which rehashed newspaper material, but without the censorship, and stopped after the only comic book of new material, which was in 2006. Cho has said several times he would resume Liberty Meadows, but apparently he keeps getting sidetracked by work that actually pays the bills.
