The message of Mr. Benson’s cartoon seems to be a poke at Mr. Armstrong’s hubris, ie – his angry denials, his insults at accusers, and self righteous indignation that accusations would even be levied on him. While I agree with that premise, and Darsan54’s comment (except I blame both parties and the lobbyists with whom they are in bed) I still wonder why tax dollars with which the Postal Service is operated were used to fund a sports team.I’m sorry about Mr Armstrong’s cheating. I was a big fan of how he overcame cancer and am still a fan of Livestrong, but what he did was corrupt and dishonorable and slandered people who tried to tell the truth. Livestrong is good.
