    Corned beef and cabbage isn’t an Irish dish, so don’t expect it if you visit Ireland. Jiggs, of Bringing Up Father was Irish, and it was his favorite dish, so people in the USA simply assumed it was a typical Irish dish.

    Well I’m Italian and Catholic, and I made pretty much what Arlo and Janis did, but I didn’t see the Red Beet Horseradish pictured amongst the food! :-) You can’t have Corned Beef and Cabbage without RED BEET HORSERADISH! NO SIR!

    I have an Irish friend who is asked at least once every ST.PD if he is going to have CB&C and he replies that some people left Ireland to get away from it.
