I prefer adventure movies where the heroes win in the end. Real life is scarey enough, why pay money to be terrified and made to feel bad when politicians take money out of my pocket to give me REAL things that scare me and make me feel bad?Frightened,C.
Wake up America! If Democrats take over the House and Senate in two years this nation will never be the same… Home of the proud land of the free.. How can we be proud and free if all we want is handouts and freebies? This country became great by working hard not sitting around expecting goverment to support us… Taxation w/o representation…
We need both the House & Senate in Democrat hands. The GOP & tea partiers are going to push our economy off a cliff damn the consequences of sequester budget cuts. We will then see a depression unlike any other since the 30’s. The best way to pay down debt is to grow the economy not slicing & dicing until everyone is out of work.

“They’re hoping the lull of this week’s congressional recess will attract attention to the Republicans’ stated willingness to allow the sequester to take effect on March 1 rather than SUBMIT TO NEW TAX REVENUES, as the Democrats are demanding.
“Speaker [John] Boehner should call the Congress back into session [and] we should act to prevent this self-inflicted loss of three-quarters of a million jobs,” Rep. Rob Andrews (D-N.J.) said in a phone call with reporters.

“The Democrats repeatedly blamed House Republicans for leaving town, but DID NOT MENTION that Senate Democratic leaders have also kept to this week’s scheduled recess.”
