I’d figure that the Vatican would have a few issues with her. Age being the least of them.

When a black pregnant lesbian becomes pope, I’ll have hope again. (same goes for the U.S., when a black lesbian atheist becomes president)

I can just see Stephen Fry in papal regalia, with his papal mobile phone as he twitters, tweets or whatever it’s called. I get the impression he’d love the attention. (That’s not an insult, just an opinion.)

The Roman Catholic Church is known to have a glass ceiling. She doesn’t need the job anyway. She’s already the spiritual leader of Danaeism.

The Roman Catholic Church could do a lot worse than have a woman in charge.

Sorry, Danae, but you don’t have have enough mass to be Pope. Wrong gender, too. "Couse, that doesn’t matter if you’re Danae.

When you’re entire industry is based on Faith and Trust, seems to me that the Church is in a world of hurt. Maybe if the Vatican starts with chemically castrating everyone who works for them we might start to believe the church is trying to atone for some of their transgressions.

I kind of thought Danae would eventually start her own cult, or at least bring back an old one that emphasized female nature and power. How about the Hecate worship said to precede that for the Olympians? Or even the ancient agricultural fertility religion as portrayed in THE KING MUST DIE. Yeah, she’d like that one. I think a lot of women would.

There is a huge scandal brewing regarding sexual abuses_within_ the Vatican according to stories that broke recently in La Repubblica .This goes beyond the Vatican cover-up….

There are only two actual requirements for the papacy. Male, baptized Catholic. Sorry Danae. I don’t expect change on that one any time soon.

Maybe… just maybe, we could all live without a pope. And a Vatican. And a College of Cardinals. And all organized religions. Imagine how emancipating that would be.

Actually, the Vatican then could be put up for auction. That should attract bids from all the world’s 0.01%ers. Whaddya think it’d go for? Say, a third-of-a-trillion? And what a trophy!

Could go a long way to getting Italy out of debt.

I hear there is a prophet living in Utah. Trouble is, all the pedophiles in the Catholic Church would have to give up sex perversions permanently instead of just for Lent. Ohh… I hear it coming: ‘but hey could have 2 wives’. ha ha Sorry, you are over 100 years late.

Linguist, Harvest Home? I Googled it. Sounds complicated. So no. I just like the idea of naked women dancing in the corn. Yeah, I know, kind of old school, but I’m kind of a traditionalist…….Religions should start using their imaginations more…I’m looking for a sauna based religion….

I’m kind of the opinion that anyone who WANTS to be Pope doesn’t deserve to be Pope. But then, I’m not Catholic either, so my opinion really doesn’t count for much.
