Once again, Henry Payne takes the prize for originality. There haven’t been more than 500 editorial cartoons with this theme.

Funny how this is all the media wants the low-information public to concentrate on. Not his great speech about individual responsibility and freedom. 2 things our prez has never learned.

Poor Marco. Will he ever live this down? The cartoonists’ union certainly won’t let him do so.

Why is Payne picking on Rubio? And why is he stealing from Stephen Colbert to do so?Rubio is an intelligent and moderate Republican forced to toe a line set by hardliners in his party. I believe him to be more like Jeb Bush, Lugar, Snow, and Powell and a good voice if he is allowed to be himself. Perhaps that is why Payne, a conservative artist, is targeting him in this way. Payne is talented and I have enjoyed his cartoons when he has focused on serious issues, even when I disagreed with him, as it gives cause to debate important things. What is up with water? First Ted Kennedy and water, then Wilbur Mills and water, now this?

If you’re claiming the Newton, CT massacre was done with a stolen handgun, you are contradicting an overwhelming number of sources backed by police reports. The main gun used was the semi-automatic Bushmaster rifle. That rifle & two pistols were recovered in the school. Rubio’s speech was the same old conservative line, except he admitted that he liked it when the government helped him get an education, & took care of his parent’s retirement income & healthcare.

gmgodsil, the early reports said that the Bushmaster assult rifle was still in his car, but after the initial shock and panic, a final report said that he in fact did use the assult rifle to kill many of those people, one of whom was shot 11 times.*You call others idiots while spouting “non-facts”. Not great for your credibility. Do yourself a favor and read more than a bumper-sticker summary before ranting.
