Funny (not really), but the whole premise behind the Right’s tax cuts for the rich is that if they have more money, they will create more jobs. In other words: Give them more money and they will spend it, helping the economy. Why doesn’t the same principle work for the working class who demonstrably spend a far greater proportion of their income? The rich do not ‘create’ jobs out of some sort of altruistic largesse. Only increased demand for products creates jobs. Where does increased demand come from? Joe Six-pack who has a bit more disposable income.
Henry Ford believed that paying good wages enabled people to afford his automobiles. In effect, raising the minimum wage created a prosperous middle class with purchasing power. It is a formula that is necessary for creation of a healthy economy. .On the other end, Warren Buffett said that modestly higher taxes would not stop him and his clients from pursuing investment opportunities. He observed that he is yet to hear an investor ask what his tax rate is before buying a business..Its a delicate balance because you don’t want to price yourself out of competition. But, it is basically a crock that the upper end must be rich and the lower end must be poor to create a thriving economy.

If you think raising the min wage will do anything for the people earning that wage, you are wrong. In fact it will harm the overall economy of the area due to the ripple effect.
Let’s say we raise the min wage to $25.00. Sounds nice, doesn’t it? Why stop there, lets bump it to $50 per hour, hay, now we are talking! Hell, we are short changing ourselves, lets do $75 per hour!!! This is cool!
Does anybody think goods and services will stay at the current price if we raise the min wage to $75.00 per hour?
Wage is enforced like supply and demand. You can not dictate a min wage. When you do, all you are doing is increasing the cost of living.
CAUTION: Testing has proved none of these claims are valid and none of this bad stuff will happen. But the doctor wants you to die and leave him alone so he can go on a cruise with the money he makes by not paying his staff, so he’s going to refuse to write the prescription.
You can’t possibly know if there no loss of growth of jobs. A employer may not have added staff for several reasons, one being cost or if he is near 50 employees Obummer care.
Oh Puh-LEASE! The CEO’s are such hypocrites! They used to downsize saying it was absolutely necessary to compete globally – while at the same time increasing their own salaries by a 35% average. Here it is the same. What they are really unhappy about is giving a pittance to the workers instead of keeping it for themselves.
I couldn’t vote for Hillary (but I would have if I could have over the Jr. Senator from Illinois with little or no experience), I am registered as a Republican.*And yes, I am calling Hillary a big fat liar. It’s what the Clinton’s do best.

Gotta get more voters to secure that Hillary gets in in 2016.

When will the government learn to stop interfering with the Laws of Supply and Demand. Many workers aren’t worth $9 an hour to their employer.
And all of this is built on the myth that people can only work 40 hours a week.

A warning written entirely by Republicans. Thus the yellow label.

The minimum wage in San Francisco is $10.55/hr.
Now if we could pay people $3/hr in Florida we could lower the cost of Bruce’s dinner.

Must be why there are fewer business’ than there were when first min. wage was passed. Do facts mean nothing to “conservatives”

Florida’s minimum wage went up 12 cents Jan 1, and now is $7.79. For employees who depend on tips it is $4.77.

Warning: May put more money into the pockets of those who will spend it. (Unlike the rich who stash trillions overseas.)
