McCain would rather send troops into Lybia, Pakistan, Syria, Yemen, Iraq, Iran, and any other place that a two-bit criminal operation exists purely because of the reaction to neoconservative idiots in the U.S. We’re so lucky he wasn’t elected! But I still would like to see more oversight over drones and the kill list — a FISA-type court if necessary, and move the drone program from the CIA to the army, where there’s a tradition of accountability.
Just a thought: If a soldier in the field, like a SEAL has a target in his sights that looks like Al Qaeda, or Taliban, does he now have to ask for a passport to assure he’s not shooting an “American” who’s committed treason and is now in a foreign land, fighting America, and American troops????
