Obviously it’s a Kenyan Socialist Librul Apologist agenda, cleverly contrived to sap the moral fiber and dilute the bodily fluids of all us real ’Murkans.

I’m sure glad those B-52 carpet bombings of the hills in Afghanistan, and blowing up a whole restaurant full of people, and a city block, in Baghdad, with FOUR 2,000 pound bombs, didn’t cause any “collateral damage”.

I prefer having “eyes on the ground” to confirm targets, don’t like drones without it, but remember, they just took Hellfires off the helicopters they were designed for, and hung them off Predators. Our fear of losing ANY Americans to wage war, and kill others, is becoming a tad “cowardly”, and a tad insane.

Killing enemies overseas, even if they ARE “American citizens” who’ve renounced their citizenship, is okay with me, but covert operation target selection SHOULD be run through one of the courts set up for the purpose if a TRUE citizen is involved, not just a decision from DOD.or CIA. HOwever, If you have six Al Qaeda Afghans in a room with two “former American traitors”, do you still seek “permission”?

WE ARE in a “non-traditional” war-fighting situation, different even than in ’Nam so reviews are necessary. I do NOT however see an expansion of “non-traditional” destruction of rights, HERE AT HOME, as necessary to defend the use of drones here. NO WARRANT, NO SEARCH!!

Not according to the Geneva Convention and the U.N.. The Americans hanged Japanese for waterboarding POWs in WW2..“It’s a clear-cut case: Waterboarding can without any reservation be labeled as torture. It fulfils all of the four central criteria that according to the United Nations Convention Against Torture (UNCAT) defines an act of torture. First, when water is forced into your lungs in this fashion, in addition to the pain you are likely to experience an immediate and extreme fear of death. "

I’m not happy about drones, but, come on, man, he’s got a LOT of unjustified killing to do before he catches up with “Bring It On” Bush.

just another non- issue made up by the republicans in the hopes that it will stick. The republicans are angry they didn’t think of it first.NOBODY GIVES A RATS ASS.no one is using drones on our own shores. As for americans who make war against the US from foreign soil, how exactly is it a problem that we take them out easily and cleanly? Maybe the reps would prefer greater collateral damage?so why do republicans support americans that renouce american citizenship from foreign countries that we are at war with? this is the definition of traitor – giving aid and comfort to our enemies.
