If his holiday involves air travel, that is a further risk factor, because at high altitudes air is an expensive commodity, and therefore the airlines make all the passengers share a minimal quantity.

Sad thing is if your sick for work, your work will still be there in a week or two when your better. If your sick for vacation you don’t get another chance for at least six months or longer.
