Orthodox Catholic has the funniest line of the day!
Going back some 40 years when I was in Arizona, it was the Catholic church providing the “underground railroad” for illegal immigrants, giving them food and shelter (of several types) in the Tucson and Phoenix areas. That hasn’t changed much, as the real issue is brining in more Catholics, NOT “Democrats”.
But. to the other issue of the ’toon- Varvel shows that the “Bush fence” is illogical, and useless for stopping humans, but does do terrible damage to wildlife migration routes in the desert, like to food and water.
Did it start with Fremont going to California, or maybe Lewis and Clark bringing “American” immigrants a map to the Oregon Territory. Interesting the Frenchies sold us something they didn’t really have any right to, in perfect keeping with all European invasions in the “new world”.
Try reading David Brooks’ column in the NY Times today… here’s a Conservative who shows how and why allowing even the illegals to become citizens will BENEFIT the country in just about every way. Those who say nay just don’t know anything about what they are talking about…but that is typical of Republicans anyway… just ask them about evolution or global warming!
Republicans worry about voter fraud that has no evidence of existing. They worry that acknowledging the fact that there are millions of people already here, is somehow going to destroy the country. Then they wonder why I call them delusional. You guys are going extinct like the dodo.

Many Democrats gained office in states and in D.C. by fraud….LBJ ordered loads of boxes of ballots be burned in order to get into the US Senate…documented in a book by a Texas historian. while doing research for a city election in 2009 i found of the 70 people i know in my precint who voted in 11/08 were 2 dead people [02/08 and 07/08] that is only 3% in order to have a case you have to grab them in the act when i found a few months later that dead had voted nothing could be done
As opposed to registering with the party that treats them like meilda?
Did you know that nearly everyone who came here before the turn of the 20th century was “undocumented”? The entire story of “Land of Opportunity” was built on welcoming those willing to show up and work.
