Funny thing, my wife didn’t like that cordless tool set I brought for here either, came with an extra battery, great carry case and everything.

I guess there is no pleasing some women.

One Christmas my main gift request was for a tool set and a tool box to keep it in. My fella got it for me. <3 This Christmas I wanted an electric screwdriver, and bless him, he got it for me. So — no problems with power tools here.(And…they did find a woman to help them in their quest — so…problem?)

This is really not very relevant these days. Best Christmas present I ever got was the deWalt Router set, and there’s always tools and such stuff on my Christmas list.

MY husband made me a great wheeled carrier for MY DeWalt air compressor – now I can roll it all around the farm….best gift ever!!!

My Mom says that “Black and Decker and their drills and electric saws did more than anyone else for women’s liberation” – though she would rather have flowers. Dad’s been warned.

Okay, didn’t they just find a woman to help in their quest? Or does he need a haircut and have some serious moobs?

Anyway, @Dammit_Liz on Twitter recently complained that every time she goes into Home Depot, they assume she’s buying a gift.

20+ years ago my wife wanted to register for our wedding at Home Depot so that she could get new tools.
