Could it be she just might want to relax and live a normal life and not become the Michael Jackson or Elvis Presley of politics where you have to meet everyone else’s expectation.

Democrat vs Republican….I have to agree with the cartoon….What difference does it make? It is still an oligarchy made up of 2 parties who are greedy, power hungry, and firmly in the pockets of donors.Billions will be spent on political attack ads. Americans will be further divided, and money that could have been used to create jobs, new technologies, and reduce waste will be spent to get narrow minded people elected based on promises they have little intention of keeping. We must demand better. We must make leaders hear our voices and order them to do their jobs or get out of the way.Respectfully,C.

I take it the Teabaggers will now begin taking that phrase out of context and throwing it around…kind of like “you didn’t build that?” The more you keep dumbing it down, the dumber the people become.

reminds me of all the hoopla, fanfare, songs written about ‘you didn’t build that’ in the RNC convention last summer. All about a phrase taken out of context

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is the full theme for the 4 day convention in 2016. It will work as well as the “You didn’t build that” theme did for 4 days in 2012.

That’s a good observation, and i’d like to expand on that if I may.The problem with the “What difference doesit make now” statement is, of course, thatpeople who were concerned about all thissuspected the administration didn’t think itmade any difference THEN.There is a contradiction in Hillary Clinton’sremarks, but at the time they were delivered,it was all about the performance. And it caughtthe committee off guard. Frankly I thoughtthat whole part of her testimony was ratherglib. Allright -very glib.

I don’t want ANYONE mentioning 2016 for at least three years, either party, but don’t want either Hillary or Biden to come forward. Of course I also don’t want to see, well maybe I do, the Republicans bring up Ryan, Rubio, JIndal, Cantor, or any of the other nut bags or “ethnics” they think might carry the ultra-right, and this nation, into true further disasters.

As to anyone bringing up “Benghazi”, I suggest they take a long walk on a very short pier, while having anchors firmly tied around their necks. I’ve been in combat, and my son spent considerable time over 5 years in specops, in several countries less, and MORE dangerous than Libya, where American consulate people, and our covert military folks, and CIA, were doing dangerous jobs.

Compared to Iraq, and the screwups in Afghanistan made by the Bush administrationS, father AND son, the “right” has absolutely NO issue to bring up with regard to this minor tragedy that affected only four deaths when more than 30 were actually rescued. Notice that NOBODY points out the staff we got OUT OF THERE? IT WAS a hairy situation, that even a company of Marines couldn’t have stopped, and we did NOT HAVE authority to use armed drones, C-130s ore other support, because the LIbyan “government” wisely told Stevens NOT to go to Benghazi, because they knew (as did he) it was hot and uncontrolled territory and they COULD NOT protect him there.

This constant wave of comments and opinions by morons on the right, who have absolutely NO experience, or let their politics select and dictate what they believe, even if they KNOW it’s WRONG, has reached way beyond disgusting.

That’s not what she meant and surely the rightie-tighties know it — but maybe not given their level of education and understanding of the world. Never attribute to malice what can be explained as ignorance.

I hope she doesn’t run. She is a person who has done all she can to help and to have all this shit thrown in her face again would be demoralizing. I wish her a long and happy retirement doing what she wants to do and not what some asshole billionaire wants her to do.
