It’s not that this is a snippet taken out of context. She is trying to disarm the situation by asking the question, “what’s the point of going back and pointing fingers.” The problem is that with her comments, they sounded as if she is dismissing the problem, instead of addressing it. It sounds arrogant, reckless, and (to be perfectly blunt) irresponsible.
Sooo… any thoughts about why GWB decided to ignore the evidence that could have prevented the 9/11 attacks? Or how about why they ignored the intelligence that would have nullified our reason for invading Iraq, costing over 4000 US lives? Or maybe why he decided it was better to invade Iraq based on shaky intelligence and draw away manpower that could have been used to capture/kill Osama Bin Laden within the first year after 9/11, thereby weakening his message, neutering Al-Qaeda, and therefore preventing the situation in Benghazi from happening in the first place? What difference does it make – of course.
Thank you, Mr. Ramirez, for reminding us of the OTHER brave US citizens who were killed in the Benghazi raid. Their names should not be lumped under the phrase “three other Americans”. And their abandonment in time of crisis should never be forgotten.
both Obama and H.Clinton decided day one (9/12/12) to lie, lie, and stonewall and get through the November election. Then they continued the “dismissal” of the major BLOT on the policies of 4 years of kowtowing to the radical Muslims.-Hillary’s successor, Viet Nam anti-war Liar to Congress, John Kerry, will not pay one second of attention to the failed Clinton State Department, or any honest unbiased investigation as to how and why we lost 4 Americans in supposed diplomatic immunity??
From 1/24/13 “Report: Systemic Failures at State Dept. Led to Benghazi Attack”….at www.breitbart.com-“The report cites the findings of the Accountability Review Board (ARB) that showed “systemic failures and leadership deficiencies” at the State Department leading up to the attack. It also provides a succinct look at the advance warning of danger that presented itself in Benghazi; Judicial Watch asserts that the State Department was apparently aware of these threats, as is evidenced by the fact that they raised the “danger pay allowance for diplomats” in Benghazi from 25 to 30 percent in July 2012."-Systemic failures….Leadership deficiencies….Hillary’s agency had “advance warning of danger” and then the State Dept. “raised the danger pay allowance for diplomats”…..but did not use the large budget Congress had authorized for protecting foreign embassies and consulates!-Our people were left virtually unprotected on the anniversary of the Jihadists celebrated 9/11/01 takedown of the American symbol of power….Wall Street and the Pentagon.-Justice would demand real accountability from both President Obama and the Secretary of State.
“……. Liberals leave you to die (Benghazi, Somalia, Kennedy, etc) ……”.You mean the Kennedy captaining PT-109 who saved his men’s lives through heroic action after their boat was rammed by a Japanese destroyer, and who later became president?.“…….Conservatives try to do what they can, call for help, send in air strikes, etc……”.You mean the conservatives who started a stupid war in Iraq with lies that resulted in thousands of Americans being needlessly killed, hundreds of thousands of innocent people killed and maimed, the country handed over to the Shiite Muslims to Iranian’s gratitude, and millions of Christians displaced? Those conservatives?
Alright! Here it is! Maybe we shouldn’t have invaded Iraq! You think every Republican was on board with that idea? Maybe we should have paid attention to warnings of 9/11! Bush was NOT a very good Republican. Mitt Romney wouldn’t have been much better. But maybe, just maybe, when there’s an attack on our consulate in Benghazi weeks before the election, Petraeus quits the day after, and Clinton dismissing the topic entirely, it might just have been a cover-up!

Same thing Lester did: read the partial quote on a ticker on Fox News and apply it out of context. Just like “You didn’t build it.”

@King of MeIf they would not have spent four weeks complaining about the video, they may have found the perpetrators by now.
