The difference is, Ms. Clinton, is that you and the president repeatedly lied and purposely mislead this county as to the source of this tragedy.

In President Clinton’s case, I’d have to agree. What difference did it make to the nation that he had oral sex in the White House? In Bush’s case, I would have gone with Iraqi WMDs before Katrina.

You are really slow, you notice that Conelly’s post had quotes? You were accusing HOW of being jealous of Conelly’s “eloquence,” the words were not their own.It looks like you’re the one who needs to read and try a little comprehension.slam

That’s one hell of a leap of logic.Kent State Students died because of Nixon. Well damn him for pulling the trigger! Did he give the order? Was he even aware of what was happening that day on that particular campus when indeed there were campus protests all over the country as well as other venues. You criticize the other poster and want them to defend their post with facts, why don’t you try the same exercise?Be careful of using the “Commander in Chief” argument, it can be used against Obama as well for some of his “missteps.”

NO WMDs in Iraq, in 2002, the UN and every intelligence agency KNEW there were none! Scott Ritter and William RIvers Pitt in fall, 2002 published a book that was totally substantiated on the “WMD issue”, and the fact it wasn’t even much of a “secret”, and that the public, and the Congress were LIED TO, and anyone who spoke out was labeled “traitor” to oppose Bush, OVER 5,000 dead American troops, for a lie! Right, what difference did THAT make?

The rest of Mrs. Clinton’s statement should have had the entire nation, even Varvel screaming for the idiot Congressmen’s blood, yes it DOES matter what we do from now on to see it doesn’t happen again. (As noted above, “W” and others didn’t manage to stop attacks that killed many more.) While the rest of the world is a dangerous place indeed, what DID Condoleezza Rice, “W”, and their other advisors do to recognize the warning the Clinton administration, and others, passed on, to prevent a little thing in New York and D.C. on 9/11/01?

“While the liar in Chief Clinton was getting giigy with it the alphabet soups where being underfunded and in fighting. This is the main cause of 9/11.”The terrorist attack on 9/11 was funded and planned at least in part by a man who was trained in military tactics and armed by the Reagan administration. The FBI largely ignored the concerns of one of it’s agents of middle eastern men seeking airplane flight and takeoff training, but not landing. The Clinton appointed terror czar saw his budget cut and was repeatedly denied an audience with President Bush to voice the czar’s concerns about terrorism. In addition, the Bush Administration ignored an August 6th security memo entitled “Bin Ladin Determined To Strike in US,” which they later passed off as “historical information.” But yes, I can see how you’d think it’s Clinton’s fault.

It was also notable that while the Senate has tried to get more money for security, it was those very House members who REFUSED to provide additional funding for security. On the scale of hypocrisy, those dudes were so far over the top, they broke both the debt ceiling, and passed out of atmospheric oxygen. (Maybe that was their problem?)
