What are we to expect more from someone that names a rat Rat, names a goat Goat, and so on?

Cable company? You sure he doesn’t work as a repairman for just about any company that might send them out to your house? I’ve had the same thing happen with the dishwasher. “We’ll be out around 2:30.” Three hours later they finally show up.

Since he works for the cable company, he should have said the ten-ten window.

Unlike the stand-up comic, cable guys do not “git ’er done.”

So, what time do Pig and Goat plan to dine? In this country (USA), probably 6:00 or 7:00, maybe 7:30 would be likely. On the other hand, I’ve experienced Mediterranean countries where (especially in the warmer seasons) “dinner time” might be 10:00 or 11:00 or 11:30 PM. In this country, many restaurants close at 9:00 PM, which is when some in Greece open for the evening! —Not that I’m trying to make excuses for the Friend Daves of this world….

I must have an odd cable company…they come on time if not early. One time they said between 8am-12pm. They came around 8
