Mom: ...whew! I spent the whole day going through e-mails! Cathy: You had that many new messages, Mom? Mom: Heavens, no! I had to look at all the e-mails I've gotten since we got the computer. Cathy: You never had them before?? Mom: Of course I did!... But on my "e-mail cleaning" days, I have to open them all up again to see what they are! Cathy: You never delete any?? Mom: How can I? This one's too long to answer right now... this one has photos that I don't know what to do with... This has a cute recipe card attached, but my printer's out of red ink... this has the ages of all of Flo Nekervis' grandchildren... Today I'm going to go back and handwrite a list of what's in each e-mail, which I'll transfer to sticky notes, which I'll stick on the computer so I won't have to open up all the e-mails one by one next time! Dad: Mother's not really the "time-saving device" type. Mom: Nonsense! This should only take an hour or so!

I can relate to this one, since I can never seem to catch up on all my e-mail. Of course, Cathy’s mom takes things to the extreme—as usual. Ha.

None of my friends send emails anymore so the only emails I get are junk and immediately get deleted when they come in.

Boy, oh boy. And I thought I had an electronic/e-mail hoarding problem. It’s absolutely nothing compared to Anne’s! ;-)

Hello and Happy Sunday, fellow Cathy fans. Hope everyone had a really nice weekend! :-)

This week’s progress report:
1.) Finally got my office finished and will be taking a ton of old bank and credit card statements we no longer need to be shredded this week.
2.) A little more painting got done on the house but due to all the rain (especially bad was the 5" to 6" deluge we got yesterday morning!), the painter didn’t get as far as we would have liked. Hopefully he’ll get the rest done this week but with more rain on the way, we’re not going to hold our breaths on that happening.
3.) Storage room clean-out started Monday and just as I predicted, it didn’t get completely finished. My husband still has a ton of tools to go through and I’m still sorting through all kinds of miscellaneous boxes. What a mess! But it’ll get done. Eventually. ;-)
4.) Things we were putting aside for a yard sale we didn’t really want to have ended up being donated to someone else for THEIR yard sale instead (which they’re having in order to raise money for a worthy cause they’re involved in). Win-win for everybody! :-)

Well, that’s all for now. Next weekend we’ll be in Georgia, preparing to close on our house Monday morning the 8th, so it’s doubtful I’ll be here then but I’ll check back in again as soon as I can. Have a great week everyone! :-)
