One can never be too thin or too rich (as an old saying goes). An honest man, indeed…Especially if Irving really said…and meant…what Cathy said he said… However, one’s weight, or lack thereof, really shouldn’t matter all that much… ;)

Good lord. Cathy’s weight may not be an issue, but there is simply no way she is “too thin”. Dial it back, Irving.

I never tell a woman what I think. That way I stay out of trouble.

Woman President 2016Being a disabled veteran, I have base privileges. I have an officer’s sticker so sometimes a young Marine will snap a salute at Marine Corp Recruit Depot. If I had grandchildren, they might be their age. But young Marines know how to make good decisions. I was waiting to come on Marine Corp Recruit Depot when a trucker-trailer tried to go through the wrong gate. The young Marine with a heavy automatic weapon, stood in his path. He was ready to fire. Of course, the driver backed out, even in heavy traffic. It might have been an accident, but headquarters and recruit barracks were only a few hundred yards. What if he had been a Taliban terrorist? That size of trucker-trailer, filled with explosives, would kill hundreds.My wife and I walk Shelter Island, next to the San Diego Bay. The fleet goes in and out. One morning, a mine sweeper went between the buoys and shoreline, looking for remote mines. The Navy did not perform such a search during the Vietnam War.When Obama gave the order to have a Navy Seal sniper kill Somalia pirate, holding hostage a ship’s captain, I said to my Navy friend, “Good, he has the ice water in his veins to give those kinds of orders.”We need that in a president now. We are a nation at war.In 2016, will the voting public believe that a woman president can give such an order?

We had Mother’s Day at Albert at SD Zoo. A young couple sat next to us. His girl friend was beautiful but he rather look at his smartphone.

My 39 year womanizing son said he was going to have a serious relationship. His new girl has a12 year old. Meeting her tomorrow . Will she make him grow up?

You simply can’t put a price-tag on the joy and happiness you get from being married to a loving, loyal, honest man, Cathy, so you’d better hurry and snap Irving up while you can because you’re NEVER going to be able to do any better than him!!!!! ;-)
