This one was definitely drawn before people had cameras in their cellphones. Remember when big video cameras were popular. Now you can get video recorders which will fit in a watch pocket.

We delete whatever photos we hate and have printed whatever we like. As far as retouching, blowing up, adding music to them, etc., who on earth [besides a professional wedding photographer] really has time for all that anyhow?!? I’m trying to get rid of all the extra unnecessary things clogging up and bogging down my life — not add more to it!!!!!

lightenup: Thanks! Some days aren’t so hard because we don’t keep junk and sweets in the house to tempt us. But other days, like today for instance, when we met friends at Tumbleweed to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the day my husband and I got engaged . . . well, those days aren’t quite so easy. I pretty much just blew the entire month of being really good on the chips, queso, chimi and strawberry margarita I had tonight for dinner!!!!! Oh, well. What’s life without a little bit of fun sometimes — especially for an occasion as special as this one?!? It would be different if I did that all the time but since I don’t, I guess one night’s not going to completely wreck my whole diet. I’ll just have to get right back to work on it again starting tomorrow!
