Cathy: Mostly, I'll keep it stuffed in a drawer...sometimes I'll have it in the trunk of my car..on really hot days, I'll carry it in a tote...At least once, I'll sit in a chair with my body wrapped in a towel so part of the top of the straps might peek out. Saleswoman: "Swim" wear: overstatement of the century. Cathy: And so, the search begins.

If Cathy’s just going to carry a swimsuit around instead of wearing it to actually SWIM in, then why go to all the time, trouble and expense of buying a new one? Why not just wear the old one instead? If she’s only going to keep it hidden from public view, won’t an old one work just as well for that singular purpose? Just another example of what a whack-a-doo Cathy REALLY is!!!!!

My OH bought me a swimsuit once, around 1980. I wore it once, in 1984. I’ve still got it, somewhere . . . probably at the bottom of a wardrobe, I should imagine.

Wow!! Congratulations catsarge!!I used to wear my suit for sunning more than swimming, but since I’m older and tanning no longer seems to be “in style,” it just kinda sits rolled up in a drawer.
