Cathy: Help me, Charlene! I cleaned my purse, and now I can't stop! Charlene: Oh, no! The purse? You did the purse?!! Cathy: When I saw my clean purse, I had to organize my bathroom cabinet......when I saw the cabinet, I had to do the kitchen cupboards...then the shelves...the CD's...and now I'm moving into closets. HELP!! Charlene: TOO LATE! Start with the purse and you've doomed yourself to the black hole of obsessive organizing! NO ONE can help you! There's no turning back! Voice (out of frame): Curses! Curses on my nice, clean purse!! Mr. Pinkley: Yet another reason why men don't carry hand-bags.

I stopped carrying a purse after my shoulder surgeries. My fanny pack carries my keys, cards, phone and sunglasses. Love it. And I don’t have to worry about someone trying to grab my purse. And I don’t have to worry about getting the organizing bug. lol

And this is bad news? Keep on organizing, Cathy!! Maybe you’ll finally use the $563 of organizing bins that you bought a while ago!I try to carry a purse as seldom as possible. I usually wear jeans, so my phone, keys and money fit in my pockets. Unfortunately, when I’m with kids, I usually have to take a purse.Hello Cathy clan! I hope you have a wonderful day!

Why does Cathy need help for the organizing “bug” she’s FINALLY caught? Why is that such a bad thing??? I try to keep all my stuff organized these days because I’ve been on the other end and never being able to find things I just KNEW I had — somewhere(!) — was frustrating beyond belief! Turning utter chaos into complete order isn’t a very fun, fast or easy thing to do but in the end, it’s all been worth it to me whenever I can find exactly what I want as soon as I need it. I LOVE BEING ABLE TO DO THAT!!!!!

lightenup: My deepest sympathy to Jr. over the death of her friend’s father. How is she doing? Was she close to the father? I know that when I was that age, I spent so much time at my friends’ houses that their parents were like 2nd parents to me so a sudden death(?) like that would have been very upsetting to me, too. Give her our love and tell her we’re all thinking about her and hope she’s doing okay.

Hi cathy friends. Lightenup i’m so sorry about jr’s friend lost of her dad.It is very sad and hard on a child when they lose a parent. I agree with you know matter how long ago you lost them the sadness still stays my prayers go out to jr and her friend. I lost my dad when i was 10 yrs old and my mom when i was 11 yrs old. I still miss them. Hugs to you all. I’m sorry that this comment is so long Hope that it is ok.
