Cathy: I rented a storage room, mom! Mom: A storage room for what, Cathy? Cathy: A storage room for all the stuff I'm putting in nice new storage boxes that won't fit in my closet. Mom: You bought too much stuff in the first place...you can't stand to part with it...and now you're wrapping it up in pretty new outfits and renting it a small home to live in?? Cathy: And you thought my generation couldn't commit! Mom: To a human! The commitment was supposed to be to a HUMAN!!

We rented a storage unit for awhile when we were moving one year. Water dripped into the unit after it rained one day. Luckily we didn’t lose anything of value stored in cardboard boxes. If you must do this, please make sure that the storage unit is in a dry place or use waterproof containers. It may cost a little, but it could save you a lot of grief later on. I hope Cathy lives in a dry climate. I would hate to see her lose those expensive boxes she’ll never go look at. lol

Cathy ever heard of Flylady? she can help you declutter all that useless junk so that your living space is kept neat and orderly with only the stuff you actually need and use.

Cathy’s mom has been so practical the last couple of days…it makes me feel a little off kilter…“renting [your stuff] a small house to live in” lol

When I was a kid, we stored a lot of stuff in a storage unit after we moved. When we finally had room to get it out, a lot of it was ruined. Moldy.

Okay, so I’m not like Cathy today, in the least. If my stuff doesn’t fit in my house/apartment, then I have too much stuff. But I will say that Cathy’s expression in the third panel is funny! :-)Hello to my favorite group!
