Pity the cat. Humans have the germiest mouths of any mammal.

My cats hate minty flavors. I’ve never known a cat that liked them.

A cat I used to have used to try to lick my mouth after i had a cup of tea. I finally relented and got her her own cup (affixed to caucer) and would occasionally make her a cup of tea with mine, usually on Saturday mornings. Another loved Doritos, but I wasn’t as generous with her.

Macushla often sniffs my breath after I’ve had something with cinnamon or another spice.

Cats go after spearmint just like they go for catnip. The two herbs are related.

Our cat loved to push her nose back and forth against my husband’s nose after we’d had tuna for lunch. She learned right away that his whiskers hurt when she tried to lick his face.

OH I have two that love the smell of mint on my breath and all three absolutly love the smell of garlic. The oldest loves to eat meats flavored with garlic.
