Why is having children who are concerned with their own survival present not appropriate for announcing the kinds of measures that will save their lives? Rush actually mocked them for saying they didn’t want to get shot. Really? Kids should shut up and listen to the gun lobby too? Obama is calling for increased enforcement of current laws (which the NRA says it wants) and money for guards in schools that want them (which the NRA says it wants) and all you can do is blame him for saving kids’ lives? Disgusting.
Yes, because 20 murdered children should be swept under the carpet and forgotten. It’s not fair to talk about the victims. It tends to prejudice people against the idiotic policies that allowed their slaughter.
The gun lobby is facilitating a truly anti-American weapons buildup and armed revolt for the near future. The 30,000 people a year who are killed (yes 900 since the school shooting) should show us how dangerous these people are.
Coming from someone who repeatedly posts that the world is overpopulated and has written disparaging comments about kids, I have a hard time believing you are doing anything more than grandstanding here to further an agenda.
