This may sound unusual, but I love dangerous children’s characters! Kung Fu Dino Posse, Ninja Meerkats, Adolescent Radioactive Black Belt Hamsters (yes, it’s a real property), etc.

I hope Highflight, Rollsroyce,cooncat and cc alexander are kidding. There is no such thing as “just a cat” or just a dog and people who hurt them are the real animals and should be put away before they hurt children and old people as well as anything helpless, like the psycho cowards they are!

Actually, in the 60’s there were many talking toys that required you to pull a string. Many had several different tracks that played randomly each time you pulled the string. They had no batteries. My favorite was casper the friendly ghost. I never took one apart but I believe by the mechanical sound they were some type of record played by a crude record player.
