Even when they’re ten years old, they’ll suddenly turn into playful kittens when you least expect it!

I don’t mind telling you … I’m getting highly annoyed at this high level lingo from supposedly cute kittens. Even when they’re playful you have them using this language. In the words of Charles Schultz … AAAAAAAARGH!

Lasers were invented to bring joy to kitties. It’s TRUE! You can look it up on the Internet!

Yes, cats act like they’re superior to dogs and even people. I grew up in a home where we always had cats. I understand the love. Now I’m more of a dog person. I still like cats and see their humor in this comic. But Sophie wins the prize in my world!

Oh yeah, we have two dogs in our house. . . Lulu Belle and Tinkerbelle (Lulu and Tink). If I ever get another dog, HER name will be SOPHIE!

I think the cats are a great addition and I love the way they talk.

I know what “vociferate” means, but I have never seen or heard it before. Who educated these cats?

A baby, a puppy, a new house and two kittens? Are these people gluttons for punishment, or what?

Our three Chihuahuas run the house and us, cats have all passed on, but our Siamese was so bright. Bet she thought in $1.00 words too.

I think they sound like the ‘two gophers’ from Texas that used to appear in Looney Tunes cartoons.

The more the merrier in DED. Mind u, not so sure about Lake Monster, but then again Sophie & Doug have wild imaginations. And I do like how the “high brow” cats speak…what’s even better, is when they slip into normal language when distracted … like the laser lights or the food begging. I look forward to this strip every day.

Spock was half human. The half that would and could chase laser dots. …. I`m waiting until they start hunting and bringing home ``presents`. ………… Presents for Sophie. for Doug. for Mom & Dad. …………….. a friend`s cat brought home anything that flew. I knew another that like garden snakes. …… mice. shrews. moles. …..
