Jack tolerates this behavior since he is the one selling all the beer every time a “goal” is achieved …

I never understand WHY anything as boring as soccer is so popular; but, my brother once came up with the answer as why a goal makes the fans go nuts….it’s cause you might have to watch 20 games to actually SEE one

I think the pub should be kept old-fashioned, with old TV’s and old drunks, the way God intended!

Tony, I just have to say one thing. I love hearing from you and Connie too, when she chimes in. Malta is so mysterious to me, and yet, you let me know, that its just a place to call home and in spite of its beauty, that I was lucky enough to see and understand and appreciate on HGTV, that there in Malta, there are just folks, families, and generations that make up any of the beloved and beautiful places here on earth. You and a few others, make me truly believe in a global community. Community being the operative word. So no matter what nation, continent, or land mass, those if us who come here to commune with others of like minds, we all make up a lovely community full of good feelings, and understanding. The trolls who attempt to break this up are met with kindness and an invitation to enter into our communities kindness and frivolity at any time. Quick Drive By! Saw John Bowmans comment yesterday. I have been commenting here since 2008 when I realized I could comment and found the courage to do so. The comics here are wonderful! For the MOST part, so are the people who appear here on a regular basis. Too bad John Boy can’t see that!

Sorry If I seemed rude yesterday. It’s just that I used to play the "Helpgame"online a few years ago, and It got so bad that people were talking sex on it and we couldn’t even play the game, and we lost it. I thought the same thing was starting here. The regulars chatted there, too. Sorry. I don’t comment often. Andy Capp has been one of my favorite comic strips for many, many years, once again, sorry.
