Bucky: I've identified why none of my previous books have been commercially successful. Satchel: Mm-hm. Mm-hm. Bucky: They were never published. Satchel: Mm-hm. Mm-hm. Bucky: Probably too short, too. This advice book says a novel should be around 300 pages. Satchel: Mm-hm. Mm-hm. Bucky: They say everyone has one novel in 'em. And I'm about to pull mine out. Satchel: One novel? That's nothing. Remember that time I had Rob's kindle in me? That was, like, a thousand novels! Ha ha! And I bet not everyone's had an address book in their intestine like I did last summer. Bucky: You're very special. Can you go now? Satchel: Hey, I got a sports section in me now.

Bucky’s look in panel 6 – Stupendous! :D Wonder where Satchel’s going with that sports section? I can see this framed strip going up on many an aspiring writer’s walls.

And then there are the formula-fiction authors who appear to have far too many novels in them. Honestly, some of them, you wonder when they eat and sleep…let alone go to the loo!

So when Satchel is finished with the Sports section….. does he return it to Rob in readable condition?/I am going to have to find ways to put into conversation “You’re very Special. Can you go now?”
