Good morning, Vagabonds. My hip joint, where my artificial hip is, is hurting me terribly from all the standing I did yesterday while waiting on the line at IRS. When I got home, my Turkish friend and his wife and kids came over and he made us all a delicious vegetable soup. Thern swe went to the pool. The swimming didn’t bother my hip joint at all.
Swimming is the best medicine, Arye. Sure wish I had access to one………but…………
It’s snowing again, and I have to go out to a doctor appointment. I’m finally giving in and having my carpal tunnel looked at. I am assuming he will order the nerve test to see if it is just that or nerve damage up at the neck. Who knows when that will take place, but I have started the ball rolling.
Rita, best of luck at the doctor. Here’s hoping it will be simple and easily cured.
David, from someone who has recently replaced the bathroom lighting, go for bright, not fancy. While some of the fixtures are very attractive, they don’t put out as much light as most people want in a bathroom. I recommend a light bar of some kind.
After doing my ‘toon tour this morning, I noticed something. With only a couple of exceptions, those strips that did address Valentine’s day at all did so with snarky comments, cruel jokes and backhanded compliments. Whatever happened to sweet and romantic?
