Nature speaks well of you, Alice.

Dill won’t mind sand and gum.

Alas! Poor Alice confuses the Nature Center place with nature itself! Ignore the Fountain of Sand and Gum, dear Alice, and groove on Sweet Nature!

When I was four, I was taken to the Lincoln Memorial. All I can remember was a toilet in the basement – it wouldn’t stop running. I can envision large water spouts swooshing around in the bowl. Kind of scary, 74 years ago!

I used to go to a place called Nature Center located in a rainforest.

    The “Uh-Oh” baby hangs out behind the sand-gum water fountain . . .that’s where it pees . . .

That’s not the Nature Center, that’s every city park in America.

I’m with Alice: Nature is overrated. It’s windy and full of bugs and it’s always either too hot or too cold. On top of that, sometimes it rains.

“Outside” is merely what I have to pass through to get from the building where I am to the building where I want to be.
