I read with interest regarding Snoopy’s obsession with the Red Baron and him being a flying ace. Charles Shulz’s one son was obsessed with W.W.I, flying aces. So the strip stems from that.

My daughter-in-law was an air-traffic controller in the air force. She said all fighter pilots think they are gods!

And Linus is thinking “Here we go again”.
