Reminds me of that one Sunday “Garfield” strip where it’s raining on Garfield (who’s chastising Odie’s likeable personality) and not on Odie.

Kites are flying straight up? They must be standing in a tornado!

if the rain is falling straight down like that then their shouldn’t be enough wind to keep a kite aloft.

What was the name of that character in L’il Abner that always had a rain cloud over his head?

‘…a hard hard rain coming down…’

But not cooler. They do it for the same reason the geeks on “The Big Bang Theory” enabled strangers on the other side of the world to mess with their lights online: “Because we can.”I doubt the lemonade tastes good with rainwater.
