Phantom After stalking Kit up into a tree and waiting for him to fall, now the lioness runs away? She’s still hungry, and now probably angry because she hurts from the spear prick that administered the anesthesia and from the “surgery” on her neck. Why would she run away from easy prey?
The Academy Award nominations for the Best Picture Oscar were announced on Jan. 10. That got me to thinking about the comic strip storylines that I enjoyed the most in 2012. These come to mind:FUNKY WINKERBEAN: Les & Summer’s trek up Mt. Kilimanjaro.JUDGE PARKER: Sam & Avery’s fishing trip to Cherry Creek Lodge. PHANTOM: A lot of Kit Walker’s year-long visit to Mexico (the Lucha Libre adventure).
