Garfield REALLY needs a glutton-free diet; it’s been needed for 35 years.

I lived on donuts and coca-cola for a year two while in university. I was underweight that time, and gained weight when I started to eat normally…

Personally I cannot stand Krispy Kreme! I grew up on the east coast and I will always prefer Dunkin’ Donuts. Or if you want to go Canadian/Northern US, Tim Hortons is pretty good. Krispy Kreme is just too greasy…blah.

It’s the funding cutbacks…there aren’t enough cops to support them in your area. Sobering thought.

My brother can’t eat most pre-made cakes and donuts — not because of the gluten but because they often contain cottonseed oil, which gives him a stomach ache. Ever notice how ingredients lists say “may contain one of the following oils” and cottonseed oil is on the list. They just use whatever’s cheapest at the time of manufacture.

Shipley for me, too. But, to be truthful, all doughnuts are greasy when they are hot. I like my Shipley barely warm with chocolate milk.

I’m surprised Earl isn’t just going ahead and having one since Opal isn’t around to stop him!

I didn’t know there were so many people who were not Krispy Kreme fans. It was the first brand that came into my head about nine hours ago. We have a local shop called Abbey’s Donuts whose doughnuts are exception.I am not a big doughnut eater – I prefer bagels – but I have always loved Dunkin’ Donuts coffee. Far superior to Starbuck’s.

Love donuts, but I’m now on the same regimen. Most communities, even small ones, used to have a local bakery, independent or in a supermarket, that produced a better product than any of the franchises. In my travels between Central Washington and Ohio I found some great ones!

My doctor told me to give up donuts and bacon. The quack.
