Looks more like a yellowjacket to me.

Awwww… Poor little Jeff. I have a big fear of wasps. I once woke up to one hovering above my bed. I didn’t see it but the buzzing noise it made was enough for me to leap up from the bed and run downstairs practically crying.

I was never stung that morning… A lucky escape.

That little stinger lives in an old gas station; it’s an Esso bee.

Vinegar neutralizes the venom.
