Poor Mr Hopper :( … The old dog’s face in the second panel is remarkable, he looked so wounded and lost…..I think the other waitress is going to fill Linda in, and we’ll get a glimpse of Hopper’s history……and maybe need a hankie to dry our eyes…….Hopefully Linda will seek Mr Hopper out if he doesn’t return the next day. What an interesting character to add to this strip!

With hope, tomorrow will bring an explanation…#Mr. Hopper’s departure past the streetlights reminds me of Aaron Marx’s departure past the streetlights…come to think of it, he seemed eager to explore Endtown with Linda. Will he be reappearing in her life?

Happy New Year!

Hope every ones New Year was good. Late night. A couple of impared drivers but overall not too bad. They are waking up now in jail but their choice not mine. Obviously Linda did not answer Mr. Hopper correctly. Of course she did not know how to handle him

I did notice however these street lights are different. They appear more modern in design. First time I can recall seeing them. Does she follow him to patch it up some how? If she does what path is going to follow? Is this character actually Arron Marx incognito? He could bend reality? He may have walked off after the Flask saga but he did drink of the Oracle so he is now bonded with Endtown. Will he make his return in 2013?

This is not a heart-stopping fight and chase. It’s a beautifully-told vignette. Mister Neathery can do it all.

Veteran AM im not sure about bending reality, travelling thru them of course. as for bieng Hopper, i doubt it. To this point Ive seen no evidence of it. if he want to be incognito, again i doubt, he is full of himself.BTW, the lights are different! Dinna noticed it at first

Fascinating story. I’m enjoying it immensely.

Obviously Aaron could use dittos to disguise himself. Still, Meg gave the impression that Mr. Hopper was something of a regular, leading me to suspect that he had been in Endtown for years. I suspect this is less Marxian trickery and more signs of how the end has affected different people.

Two strips. Eight panels. EIGHT. And Hopper is a fully-realised character. My hat is mixed-metaphorically bowing low to you, Mr. Neathery.And Happy New Year to alL!

With the new year’s arrival, comes hope for the future. And I hope that…A: He comes back tomorrow, andB: Somebody briefs her about his story.The last thing Linda needs is to know that she has made yet another person miserable in a matter of hours.

A cake will take milk, eggs, bean flour and sugar. Maybe there are some bees. In this way she and Maude could come up with a passable cake!That would get everyone happy, if you have to do a little work to make someone a happy surprise, it multiplies happiness!

Maybe this is just the opportunity for her to help someone worse off than herself.

Endtown will still survive the TSers if I have anything to say about it this year! This is my town! This year and the next!!!!
