I found that I really wasn’t hungry until well into the afternoon and stuff that I normally put down so easily just didn’t taste so good, which made eating less easy to do. Ron enjoyed getting the post op obligatory ice cream. I guess the cold helps soothe a tender throat. Tonsils are a component in our lymph system. In breast cancer they mention how nodes (lymph parts also) in your underarm area can become infected and are sometimes a target for removal, I think, in helping to avoid a full on mastectomy. Doesn’t always work though. Use plenty water and fruit juices, if you are so inclined.

It is up to 61 degrees F. now. My fitness went pretty good although I have a recent pain in my left shoulder blade which is putting a small crimp in things.

Thank you so much for that info again. That must be horrible when women have to go through that. It’s really sad.

Ice cream is always worth waiting for after having your tonsils removed. Well… I wouldn’t know but Ron would.

RE: Your other comment yesterday… I will check out episodes of Dr Who one day if I see it listed in the TV Guide or it’s on when I’m channel surfing. I don’t watch that much TV to be honest.

“The Boulder Weekly” seems to be a lot less newsy and more informative (at least the web-site does). I’m sick of hearing about politicians and celebrities and I know what the weather is. .But, yes, If I hear about it, I’ll tell you. Similarly, if you hear about Moby Grape, Canned Heat, Airship….et al…I’d be grateful.

I may have had a few drinks tonight and I might regret it in the morning, but I’m enjoying the community spirit.
