does anyone make a good dagwood sandwich? heard that hollywood tried to make a real-life version of the blondie and dagwood comic strip into a movie or a tv series.
I estimate there were about 20 Blondie movies (B&W) by the 50s. (Several years ago, they were on AMC Sunday mornings)They were also very popular on radio, but several tries at TV failed.I suspect it was difficult to find someone to look/act like Mr. Dithers, as most of the movies had a new boss that had bought out Dithers. (Ratcliff or Radcliff?)

Dagwood also did a guest appearance in Lil Abner once.

Over the years, Blondie has been seen in the tub in the comic strip.
