Once again we see images of legislators doing what they have learned to do best. Take care of themselves and their interests.Yoga is an excellent way to improve flexibility and improve one’s health, especially as one ages. But the way the above personalities have behaved as elected officials might make one ambivalent about their longevity if it means they will be able to stay in office and keep things from happening that much longer. We need leaders with open minds, open hearts, and the ability to think beyond the next election cycle to what our nation might be in 10, 20, or even 50 years. The foundation for a home that lasts the years is built in the first few days, and these folks don’t have any idea how to prepare the ground, much less lay a foundation.Still, GC shows there are many people who are intelligent and/or passionate about our nation, even some of those who don’t live in our nation. If folks like you vote, write to your legislators, we actually might make them think about their voters instead of just their donors.Happy New Year Neighbors,I look forward to our debates through 2013.Respectfully,and Gratefully,C.Happy New Year.

“The ‘beast’ politicians money can buy.”-Go “666” (… but, I stutter) yourself on something real… and important.

“Is your mental ability level really so stunted that you can’t follow the ‘toon? Or is your partisan hatred level so high that you can’t see anything in anyway but President Obama is at fault?”-I suspect skin tone is coloring skip’s attitude; even one cent spent is way too much.

I would agree with Ima, but Sheldon Adelson couldn’t buy Newt or Mitt this election!

Obama has come up with $1.6 Trillion in cuts over 10 years. Boehner came up with $500 Billion, so WHO is the real deficit “hawk”?? Oh, right many of Obama’s eliminate ripoffs from insurance companies, and fraud in Medicare and other areas, while still providing vital services. Boehner only cuts “benefits” folks have earned, not a single ripoff. The Republicans also call for $2 TRILLION in “defense” increases, while even the generals and admirals admit they can CUT hundreds of billions and NOT IMPACT “DEFENSE”!

Try looking up Joint Chiefs testimony to Congress over the last two years. And we still can’t get the F-35 JSF to work because we’re trying to get one plane to do too many incompatible tasks. We’re in danger of losing overseas contracts because of this!
