I think Joan would have been disappointed if Val didn’t make the comment in the last panel! And I enjoyed Paris when i was stationed in Germany – but we did like the country side much better! But Paris in a cartoon world… would be wonderful! =)
Is my memory playing tricks? I seem to recall an arc several years ago where Val and Joan went to Europe — I thought it was Paris, but I could be wrong — but Val got sick and had to stay in the hotel room, and Joan painted the town red on her own. This was probably before she and Wally got married — or am I confusing Stone Soup with a completely different comic strip?
