Joan: 2013! What kind of year do you think it will be?
Wally: One where we see Paris for the first time.
Joan: I don't envy 2014.
Wally: Doomed to be an also-ran.
Last year, I went to England with my brother. I’d like to go on another foreign excursion with him. If Canada, I’d like Toronto, Montréal or even Cardston, Alberta. He suggests Vancouver. Even as children in Port Angeles, we used to go to Victoria via ferry with the folks. It’s been AGES since we went up north.
Last year I went to India, China, Thailand, all over the Philippines, this year will be at least Malaysia and the US, but after that, no plans yet. Sure would like to go back to Europe.
Went to Atlanta & Savannah for our first time. Been to Cardston many times (only 2hrs. away!). Hope to cycle in Vermont this summer. Hubby gets to go to Mumbai next month & I can’t go to ‘play’ while he works :o( this time.
My husband went to Africa this past summer to take photos of animals and scenery – lifelong dream. Older daughter and her spouse went along to help. Next December, the spouse’s niece is marrying a man from New Delhi (after a US ceremony – they’ve been seeing each other for nine years). Daughter and spouse are going to India, and will invite my husband. I need readily available facilities, so didn’t go to Africa, and prob. won’t go to India. In 2005 I got a load of the Turkish-style bains in France. :-(
Exes family had a house near Seaside Heights. Really loved the Boardwalk and rides. Shame to see the results of Sandy. Did a Tuscan tour two years ago, early spring, and had a great time. Two days in Rome, and found out the Vatican tour is free the 4th Sunday of the month. Amazing how compact old Rome is.Wife got her wish to throw a coin in the Trevi Fountain.

I went to Edinburgh on a shopping trip. And to Aberlady for the sunset, and North Berwick to see the sea.
