    “5 player Scrabble?”

    Actually, we can play with 8, using a poker table and two complete games, one of which has the swivel-type board.(Try coming up with a word with two Qs and two Xs.)

    just take a short trip by the thermostat and kick it up a few degrees, I know if I do that my husband doesn’t even notice.

    I’d guess that there’s one 2-person team. That’s how we always did it when there was someone who wouldn’t have an adult’s vocabulary and spelling skills. The youngest played with someone else. Or either the winner or lowest score is out the next game.
