Why was it left out in the snow? I can see leaving the cake out in the rain, but…

Another thing is free. Music you know well. I had Fleetwood Mac’s “Sometimes”, off of Future Games, in my my head and I started to look for it in my CDs It would have taken forever..my filing system sucks…So, since I had the song inside my head already, I sat down and listened to the whole thing from from start to finish. I might have mixed things up a bit, but it was very satisfying….Great fidelity and stereo separation… It was what ever I wanted it to be. I added a horn section for while, my choice,,,Which is cool, because if I ever go deaf, I’ll still be able to listen to music…is that cool or what?

Only a Mainiac would get that, and there obviously aren’t too many of those reading the strip. Probably out looking for their snow blowers.

That snow blower actually belongs to his neighbor…finders sweepers, or something like that.

He more then likely is using the snow blower to dig his car out!Once he finds it, that is…>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Exactly what I was thinking. Must be one of the joys of a Maine winter.Personally, I prefer looking at snow on the news. You don’t have to shovel sunshine here in Florida.

I still want to know why he left the snow blower outside. I keep mine in the garage, well away from the elements so I don’t have to break out the metal detector and…::shudders:: the shovel…to find it. I hate shoveling snow!

Does anyone remember the hovercraft-inspired lawn mower? Looked cooled but didn’t work because it blew the grass flat beneath it (Duh!). Would have made a better snowblower.

I know exactly where my snow blower is….and with God’s help I will never have to find it by digging a path to the shed I have it stored in….if by chance I need a metal detector to find that shed I will calmly go back into the house, pour another cup of coffee and wait for spring thaw. Assuming I can find my way back to the house. (Visions of Jack Nicholson in the maze scene of “The Shining” flash through my mind….MAKE THEM STOP!!!!

“What … it starts after being buried there ???”Really! I was thinking the same thing. After my son-in-law liberates his excuse for a snow blower from under the canvas, if won’t start. Then after much running back and forth between the convenience store and car repair place down the road, he may get it to run for awhile. But it’s outta commission about 2/3 of the time, and they can’t get the cars out of the garage, with a 200-foot driveway and 6" of snow all over and sheets of ice.

My hubby’s been complaing that he misses snow, but then were lived in the mountains where it’d snow a few inches or a foot and it’d melt in a few days as long as the sun came out. Oddly enough when we moved to the upper midwest everybody was saying “oh, the cold and snow must be such a hardship for you!” yeah, if we’ve gotten 3 inches total this whole winter I’d fall over in a faint.

Richard Harris singing MacArthur Park — the end of the song has to be one of the highest notes I have ever heard a man sing — high D!
