I prefer the term “combat arms”. It’s the reason they should be restricted to those in actual combat. If you can’t hit a deer with less than 30 rounds in the weapon, then exactly what DO you intend to hit with it?
And some actually think that the answers is arming principals (and the safeties too, I guess). This is their real mentality. That is why it is so hard to reach a concensus. The gun lobby is in an alternate universe somewhere.
The more guns in a place, the more shooting deaths. Let’s not do the experiment AGAIN with our children. Keep guns out of schools, and keep weapons of mass murder out of America entirely.
Kids are life. Guns can mean death or life if you are stuck in the wilderness. Most of us have Never had to kill anything before eating it. I think if you kill it, you should have to eat it.Not in the case of humans, unless you are the Donner party.
When my daughter was in third grade, the message from school was, “If Daddy kisses or hugs you too much, report him to us.” The bluenose brigade is still out to “save” children from love, and expressions of love of a parent, because we must fear “abuse”, and fear anything else in life, except of course, deadly weapons.
It’s also interesting how often these “most concerned” turn out to be the most guilty themselves. It goes back to that apple in the garden, and let’s kill all snakes because “god” took their legs away.
If teachers carry guns, I hope smarting off kids don’t drive her over the edge! She may decide t5o gun down all the kids in the room, if the day has been stressful enough.
Every day for two months, you shouted at us “Romney Landslide!” You, and whatever you use as your ‘precious media’. . . have no credibility. Your statistics are fabricated. Your statements mean nothing.

Right, Mr. Ima. We should all look to Texas for guidance in education. What have you been smoking?

I know a teacher in Texas, near San Antonio. The school district does not allow guns in school.

I believe we should lock up Mr. Ima as a possible nut job.
