The Arizona Republican electors were complaining about Obama not having a birth certificate just two days ago, so some of these fake issues will never die.

The GOP hated Clinton, too. Republicans just feel entitled to be in power forever. When poor white men and black men get in the way, they lose their mind.

And we have far less taxes (especially on our wealthy) than do the Northern European Countries. However, by just about any standard, they have a much higher standard of living than we do. How can that be, why are not their people in total revolt over this??

Also, the US Constitution (which conservatives are always fond of saying that they are the chief defenders of) gives the Congress the power to tax the citizens of the US in any way, amount , or manner that it pleases them to do. Or don’t you even bother to read the document?

SO, argue just how those taxes are spent all you wish, but get off of the anti federal tax wagon, as it makes you stand against the very Constitution of this country, and that is as anti American as you can get!!

When a republican organization sent out fliers for a fundraiser with fried chicken, watermelon and kool laid emblams on it was that playing the race card? When people at tea party events had pictures of the President on a monkeys body was that playing the race card? When a poll released recently showed 48% of republicans admitting they had a problem with the president being black was that playing the race card? Try entering the relm of reality with the rest of us. I am white therefor racists think they can spew any bull they want in my presence. Racism is alive and well in America because I hear this stuff daily. You know usually the only people making the complaints you are is because..well… you are racist

It is an inconvenient fact that ever since Reagan was elected, under Republican Presidents, deficits went WAY up. If we look at actual data for the US debt at the end of every fiscal year (not corrected for inflation), Reagan came into office with a $1 trillion debt. It rose to $4.4 trillion under Reagan + HW Bush. It rose to only $5.8 trillion under Clinton. And it rose to $11.9 trillion under W Bush.

I’m not defending Obama’s debt. I’m just pointing out that between Jimmy Carter leaving office and Obama coming in, the debt rose by $10.9 trillion, and only $1.4 trillion of that came from a Democratic President. This is a fact.

Tigger- rather than just make your assertion (it’s true!), why don’t you link the actual comments so we can judge for ourselves? The ONLY comment I recall, and it WAS covered extensively, was Joe Biden saying Barrack was articulate. And while Democrats were indeed the racists shown in the past, it is the Republican party who turned on the blacks as soon as Civil Rights legislation was signed. And it took a Southern white politician, LBJ, to push the legislation through. And it was Nixon’s Southern Strategy that has kept the Republicans i control in the South. I remember a cartoon from the Nixon era with the Confederate flag over the White House, with the caption watch what we do…

True that – When Mitt Romney’s father ran for President in 1968, no one said he should be disqualified because he was born in MEXICO! And how many people complained four years ago about John McCain being born in PANAMA?

How do you like paying taxes? You can pay mine if you like them so much.

.Can you be any more infantile? I don’t like paying taxes, but I do like living in a civliized country, and taxes are the price of civilization. I will gladly pay for civilization, and I expect you to pull your fair share. It’s patriotic after all.
